Short Bio

    This is Md. Tariqul Islam. Thanks a lot for your interest in knowing about me. Currently, I am working as a lecturer at the University of Global Village (UGV) in Barishal, Bangladesh. I received my Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B. Sc. Engg.) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from North Western University (NWU), Khulna, Bangladesh in 2015, and my Master of Engineering (M. Engg.) in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Khulna, Bangladesh in 2023. I am currently pursuing Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Khulna, Bangladesh. I achieved the 3rd Position and the Best Student Award for outstanding performance at the undergraduate level.  

           I started my professional career as a System Support Engineer, in Eicra Soft Ltd, Gulshan, Dhaka. Later, I joined as a Support Engineer, at Ismart Broadband, Khulna. After then work as a Jr. Network Engineer, at Royal Net, Khulna, Bangladesh. Currently, I work as a lecturer in the CSE department on 30 December 2021 at the University of Global Village (UGV), Barishal, Bangladesh.

      I devoted myself to learning, teaching, and researching in the broader Computer Science field. My research includes:

• Artificial Intelligence

• Computer Network & Security

• Natural Language Processing and Text Mining 

       As a new author, I  published  7 conference papers and several international journals and conference proceedings. I like to continue my career as an academician, especially in teaching, research, and academic curricula development.
